Japanese goods and there are trade enquiries from

Europe re re shipping Japanese goods at Hong Kong for

Europe.

There were no anti-Japane se incidents

in the Colony during the quarter and little

propaganda by either side.

At the end of 1939 the Japanese adult

population of the Colony was 498 males and 320

females, total 818.
